Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients - Prepare and package medications for distribution - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies - Enter prescription information into the computer system - Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries - Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient satisfaction - Follow all pharmacy policies and procedures - Adhere to aseptic technique when handling medications Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience - Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred - Strong knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations - Familiarity with hospital and critical care pharmacy operations - Experience with IV infusion and sterile compounding techniques - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients.
