Description:
We are looking for computer engineers with experience in embedded C programming to improve and enhance mission-critical software.
Candidate will be involved in all stages of the software lifecycle - design, implementation, testing, delivery, and system support. Creativity is required to solve challenging, technical problems.
Most work is performed in the Centreville, VA office. Some work may be performed in a classified environment and will involve some direct interaction with customers. Highly motivated individuals seeking an entrepreneurial environment with future leadership opportunities are encouraged to apply.
We are focused on providing our customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities. Qualifications
Required
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- GPA 3.0 or above (out of 4.0 scale)
- Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Experience working in a Linux command line environment
- Knowledge of VxWorks or other Embedded Systems
- Experience in C programming
- Experience analyzing performance issues and implementing efficiency improvements
- Understanding of network protocols
- Experience with any of the following technologies a plus:
- TCP/IP and 802.11 technologies
- Experience performing unit testing
- Strong ability to grasp new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and interaction with other team members
- Demonstrated leadership of a team or project
- Ability to communicate with technical team members, managers, and customers
