To help us achieve our strategic business goals, we are currently looking for a
Solutions Manager
to join our organization.
The Solutions Manager has responsibility for a solution or product portfolio within Communications Lifecycle Management (CLM). The Solutions Manager serves as a key source of innovation for Dimension Data's client facing solutions and as a primary point of contact for our Vendor Partners. Solutions Managers will work across organizations and throughout DD to raise the level of understanding of CLM solutions and they will engage with clients and prospects in direct support of some opportunities.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Management:
Identify emerging segment and client needs and trends
Lead solution development and introduction through technological, business, and market validation of new offerings and products including ownership of areas such as:
Determine fit within Dimension Data's current solutions offerings (in ITaaS, NA and globally)
Evaluate Dimension Data's ability to leverage current delivery resources for the solution
Recommend the delivery model used to deliver, both in region or from CLM as a central delivery organization
Ensure marketing is effectively supporting the solutions. Develop collateral for socializing solutions internally and act as basis for marketing to develop external-facing materials
Lead assessment of potential for turning offerings into complete managed services products
Own Go-to-market (value proposition, target clients, sales strategy, competitive positioning, etc.) plan
Enable sales, presales and delivery to perform their jobs in regard to the new solution
Presales Support:
May act as senior presales resource for key and complex engagements
Serve as escalation point for internal presales resources for complex opportunities
Provide technical input for SOW templates, BOM templates, and Services Pricing tools
Drive revenue generation program/initiatives
Engage global resources in this solution area where a higher level of presales support is needed
Delivery Liaison - Increase overall margins in the practice/solution through :
Partner with Services organization to develop delivery methodology:
Develop and maintaining delivery methodologies around designated solutions
Train delivery staff on delivery methodologies for new solutions
Equipping PMO group to enforce delivery methodologies Deploying Configuration Guidelines:
Work with field delivery teams to develop configuration standards around: Approved code levels, baseline configurations, recommended best practices for customization, etc.
Publish and maintain configuration guidelines
Improving delivery processes around solutions to increase margin and client satisfaction:
Develop and own maintenance and enhancement of delivery tools
Foster increased communications between delivery resources in separate regions
Training:
Responsible for training new staff on delivery methodologies for existing solutions
Responsible for coordinating engineering training on new solution areas
Project Engagement
Provide senior solution resources as an advisor for key projects
Provide architectural and requirements guidance on key projects at predefined milestones
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:
Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job:
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a marketing or business field is required.
An MBA or related experience is desirable
Work Experience Required
Solution Managers typically have a minimum of 7 years of related experience in service development, solution architecture, and offering management
Skills and Core Competencies
Recognized by peers as a senior resource in the specialty practice area.
Demonstrates detailed understanding of standard delivery methodologies around practice areas and must demonstrate past history in following methodologies.
Ability to coach engineers and technical architects on the requirements of assigned solutions.
Good business acumen.
Must have strong communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation.
Strong project management skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
