Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing agile leadership and project management for CARFAX business units and development group. We hold agility, initiative, and teamwork in high regard. Using a participatory, servant-leader style, the Agile Project Manager supports the organization and the team with continuous improvement and value-driven product delivery.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:

Provide experienced techniques and leadership to facilitate strong project execution on a consistent basis.
Facilitate all aspects of the team's planning and prioritization process.
Define and manage projects to critical success factors in an Agile environment.
Support portfolio best practices through roadmap planning, project status reporting, and full participation in fostering steady organizational and operational improvements.
Occasionally fill the Business Analyst role on some projects. Will partner with Product Management to translate requirements into user stories and conditions of satisfaction. May also assist in build vs. buy analysis and facilitate decisions to support business needs.
Coaching Agile Practices:

Coach the whole team to apply the Agile principles to the delivery cycle with a goal of continuous improvement.
Partner with Product Management and business owners in the development, prioritization and maintenance of product roadmaps, features and functionality.
Advocate for the team and partner with the development managers to remove impediments.
Observe the team dynamics, recognize strengths and weaknesses, and coach them to improve.
Adapt to ever changing priorities.
Communication:

Foster a strong customer focus and an environment of collaboration.
Facilitate decision making with stakeholders, balancing the needs of different constituencies and facilitating consensus.
Collaborate with business leadership and technical leads to identify and resolve story dependencies and resource needs.
Communicate accurate status, team performance, metrics, and impediments to the broader organization.
Interpret technical information and convey the information to non-technical audiences.
Time Management:

Manages time effectively to work on highest value work.
Works to actively eliminate roadblocks and create focus.
Requirements:

5
years of project management experience preferred.
2
years of experience within an agile software development environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills of servant leadership, motivation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and empowerment
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to collaboration.
Experience with Agile tools is desirable.
Agile certification is desirable.
Bachelor's degree in related field of study required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
