Senior Consultant - Sourcing

DayBlink Consulting is a rapidly growing boutique consulting firm. We are seeking seasoned procurement consultant or former industry executives to join our innovative model. This position will be client facing and will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of sourcing and procurement work for a particular client.
Responsibilities:
Active contributor and/or leader on client projects with a primary focus on delivery
Develop and contribute to the quality deliverables
Drive client engagements by contributing and/or leading the development of strategic and tactical initiatives
Transparent communication with clients and team members on project's status and steps to success
Present your recommendations to senior client executives
Communicate and present information clearly in verbally and written formats
Collaborate on the development of client proposals
Facilitate in identifying new work at existing client
Participate in weekly company team meetings and project team meetings
Support and Lead internal practice development initiatives with meaningful contributions
Support DayBlink Ventures initiatives
Consistently be striving for individual development opportunities through external and internal projects
Facilitate sourcing and competitive bidding events for clients with a particular emphasis on facilities related spend
Manage sourcing and procurement projects, building project plans, providing updates, and creating deliverables
Provide ad hoc negotiation and market expertise to clients
Map processes related to facilities procurement and sourcing
Create policies for clients in regards to facilities procurement and sourcing
Provide data analysis for facilities related spend data, including, but not limited to, bid analysis, requisition/PO use, spend by category, spend by payment type, influenced spend
Qualifications:
3-5
years of management consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Big 4 consulting experience
Experience driving business requirements, identifying gaps and omissions and designing solutions
Capable of establishing immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence
Able to work under tight deadlines
High attention to detail through proofing, follow through and scheduling
Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment balancing priorities for efficient workflow
Be able to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence
Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal)and presentation skills
Creative thinking and ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems
A team player that is able to put the project or team success before their own, while also developing other members of team
High integrity, follow through and detailed orientated
Adeptness to work collaboratively on a team as well as independently
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university required
Excel expert
on-line RFx use (Ariba, Oracle, Global eProcure, Coupa)
eProcurement experience (Ariba, Oracle, Global eProcure, Coupa)
Operational contract review (not paralegal)
Knowledge of telecommunications industry and current trends
