PROJECT OVERVIEW:The scope of the project is to assist government customers to meet the mandates of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), Federal Information Processing Standard 201 (FIPS-201), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications, and applicable customer regulations. Secure Mission Solutions provides engineering services to design, implement and maintain a system that facilitates the collection and provisioning of biographic, biometric, credential, public key infrastructure (PKI) and authorization information to multiple Software House CCure 9000 and AMAG Symmetry systems. The solution also serves as the authoritative identity source for other critical applications.RESPONSIBILITIES: This mid-level engineer shall be responsible to:Execute daily tasks as assignedProvide system development, engineering and integration support services to include requirements and concept of operation development, system design and development, test and evaluation, production deployment and maintenance supportPrepare system documentation Develop scopes of work, cost and schedule estimatesDevelop training materials and deliver training on newly deployed systems and/or featuresIdentify and report dependencies, progress and risks associated with assigned tasks. Qualifications. The ICAM/HSPD Senior Analyst shall have, at a minimum, 10 years of direct engineering and technical services experience. The mid-level Engineer shall possess in-depth knowledge of HSPD-12, FIPS 201, FICAM, physical access control systems, identity management, biometrics, systems integration, and other Electronic Security Systems (ESS). In-depth knowledge will be verified by demonstrated working knowledge and respective minimum five years field experience. Knowledge and documented experience or factory training in one or more of the following is preferred: AMAG Symmetry Security Management System Hardware and Software. LRS Identity InSight Iris Recognition System Hardware and Software. Bosch CCTV Equipment. Boone Edam TAP 250 and Tourlock 90+180 turnstiles. HID Readers. Innometriks Readers. Intellisoft ICEWARE Software. Software House C-Cure 9000 Security and Event Management System Hardware. and Software. Technology Industries Software. One or more of the following certifications is preferred: ASIS International Physical Security Professional (PSP) Smart Card Alliance Certified Smart Card Industry Professional / Government (CSCIP/G) Smart Card Alliance Certified System Engineer ICAM PACS (CSEIP) IEEE Certified Biometric Professional (CBP) REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 years work experience. Minimum 5 years experience supporting HSPD-12 and ICAM programs. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Ability to resolve highly-complex and difficult engineering problems and devising unique solutions to meet client requirements. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership role. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with team members, managers, and clients on highly-complex and difficult engineering issues pertaining to assigned tasks. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
