Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring an experienced Policy Analyst with the desire to work on a team developing innovative solutions to support emerging technology projects.
You will be responsible for enhancing government customer capabilities while addressing security challenges.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted consultant and collaborate with the government customer to create and staff responses to Congressional tasking as required by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) as well as provide program management expertise to facilitate success within a non-standard environment.
Responsibilities:
Support customer tasking and deliverables as required by the NDAA.
Staff deliverables through senior Pentagon officials for approval.
Understanding of other transaction authorities (OTA) within the context of rapid implementation of new technologies and execution of the program budget.
Perform technical research and program development related to 5G technology to include:
Analysis and Planning Requirements preparation Development and evaluation of technical concepts Review, Evaluation and Summarization of relevant technologies and concepts Interaction and collaboration with individuals from academia, industry, and government Preparation and presentation of briefing materials, technical reports, and program documents Develop reports to include security implications, risks and advantages of items being developed under the program.
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; military experience in communications, electronic warfare, signals intelligence, or related discipline may be considered in lieu of a degree.
8
years of experience in technical policy analysis, or technical program analysis.
Pentagon staff/action officer experience within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff or service staff.
Experience with DoD fixed and mobile platforms within an operational environment.
Strong written and oral communication ability Experience performing the responsibilities for the position listed above.
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required with the ability to attain an SCI clearance.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
